It's been a while but I think it's the GLT or GLE. If I remember correctly mine was GLT. Had leather interior, electric sunroof, windows, seats, heated seats, auto and wood dash :)
very nice :),
Its just something about the volvo estate that i like. Many find them ugly or boxy but i think they are a good all round work horse. :)

The Volvo 7 Series was the first , normal, car I just 'wanted'. Never felt that again until the L322. Oddly enough the 7 I fell in love with and kept for 8 years, was also gold :)
It was also the only vehicle my Mum gave up her original Mini for. At one point we had two estates and three saloons. My Mum at 5'5 up to myself at 6' and the rest in between could all find a comfortable driving position. Can't be bad.

Not sure just remember had a spoiler on roof might have been 4WD was bloody quick though quite rare now..

I'm wondering if it was the 240. I know they raced them , and they did pretty well. The police went mad for the 7 series T5.

Can't find a picture of a racing 2 series estate but lifted this from Volvo "With turbocharging, the robust B21ET 2.1 litre engine generated 155 hp, which meant the 240 Turbo could do 0-100 km/h in 9 seconds and had a top speed of 195 km/h. The 240 Turbo Estate was the world’s fastest estate car"
