Hi there, after some help please.
Driving home from work - indicators decide to give up.
A search on historic posts suggest a change of the hazard switch would be prudent - done, and its kinda worse. So what i have now is this
1. No turning indicators whatsoever.
2. Hazards will come on, but only two out of the following three. RHS & dash indication light, or RHS & LHS with no dash indicator light. A gentle push on the switch housing seems to toggle between the two above. But its a new switch ??
So in my basic diagnostics Im trying to wok out with the aid of the Haynes schematics is what is the colour of the 'interrupted' power feed - is it the LGN ? And, what could cause (2) above ?
Its a 1988 Defender / 90
As ever any help much appreciated.

Check the earths to the body at the indicator lamps, pull the bulbs out & check for corrosion.

Does anyone happen to know where the GW & GR from the steering column stalk switch actually bind to the GW & GR leaving the Hazard warning switch ? Hazard warning switch illuminates all 6 lights as it should, but I still have no directional indicators from the stalk. Both Hazard warning switch and stalk have been changed. Surely if it was an earth issue the hazards wouldn't work ??
