ive just bought a disco 1 200 tdi its really tidy having been in malta for the past 10 years but the fuel gauge doesnt read the light is on all the time will it just need a sender. ive had a quick look and the earth is still on .is it a common fault with an easy fix cheers russ
My 300 had a similar issue, but when I took the sender out (I'd bought a new replacement) I found all it needed was the wire from the float re-soldering, job's a good 'un .. )
Dunno if it's the same for a 200, but worth checking .. took about half an hour.
