The hazard flashers and indicators have stopped working out of the blue, on my '97 300tdi es auto. Fuses are ok and the bulbs haven't blown as they flash with the alarm! It was hitched up to my caravan at the time if this makes any difference. (just the same without 'van on) At the same time the rear electric windows stopped and the clock changed time!!
Everything else seems to work, I'm thinking towards flasher can/relay.
Has anyone heard of this before and where is the flasher can/relay located?
Any help would be great

PS I'm wanting to get a workshop manual for it, are Haynes any good for Discos??

sounds like the relay. think its under the drivers side dash.
not sure on the 300tdi. but its under the dash somewhere.
the haynes manual is a waste of bookshelf space.

Got my flashers sorted today, by the mechanic we use, sure enough, flasher relay and corrosion on the back of the fuse box!
If the haynes manuals are rubbish, which workshop manual should I go for? Land Rovers own?

That mechanic is a ****in genious. How the hell did he think of that? I'd keep hold of him if I were you, he's worth his weight in gold.

D'ya reckon he could help me with this problem? I've had the Disco for over 5 months now and it seems to be fine. I take it out for a drive (only a couple of miles or so) the fuel gague goes a little further toward its start point. Nowe when I start it, it hardly moves at all and theres a little orange light that stays on. Ask him if he's got any idea why this is, could you?

I just won a Haynes from ebay - what rubbish. Full of incorrect labelling, mistakes and misprints etc. and I only got as far as the first couple of pages..
