didn't make it as was called into work:oops:

hopefully manage Newbury though & maybe have a stall (early entry & no walking miles with 'finds';))

I went, overpriced piles of rust everywhere. I think some people are being a bit to adventurous with their pricing strategies

Its half decent for bits of tools etc, good to see so many early series there. I'll try the next one at Newbury but I think I'll give Malvern a miss from now on

Tractor spares were non existent except 4-5 stalls selling Britains farm models etc

My pal bought a genuine ex MOD Defender front bumper for a fiver. The seller didn't want to take it home again.

I want to go but Mrs K would have kittens. I bought something on eBay this week that arrived in the post today (a gasket scraper, so not exactly purchase of the century…) and Mrs K went off on one. So in order to preserve some domestic harmony and save some grief, I’m staying put. I can’t be accused of buying things I don’t need then. :rolleyes:o_O

Should have told her it's a turnip peeler. When she says that 'but we don't eat turnips', apologise and suggest putting it in the garage so it doesn't clutter up the drawer...

What a great idea! Until she thinks about it and says we don’t eat turnips… o_O:rolleyes:

well, didn't have a stall but did drive ~150 miles each way for a looksee....

bought 1 item from my 'list (£30 200tdi Disco rad/intercooler pack to use in the Offender:p)

and £160 of other stuff that might come in handy (like another Slickshift setup & gearstick, probably go into a friends 300tdi Def90 and an X-eng disc handbrake)

I know what you mean. My pal bought a can of 7UP on the way out. He asked me how much i thought the can cost. I said £1.50, thinking it was probably a quid but added fifty pence on top.
No, TWO BLOODY POUNDS!
He wasn't impressed!

Did anybody use the outside loos at Newbury?
Apart from being shy, the damn thing was way too high for me to reach!

Still, at least it didn't have the usual 'porta-loo' smell :D
