Hi Everyone
Found you all whist trying to find info on Freelander problem.
This fault seems to be cropping up a lot but none of the threads i've seen have said what actually fixed it.
Here's the problem.
Wife never drove over the Xmas period ( had me running her around in my clapped out mondeo!!!). When trying to start just turns over. New distributor and spark plugs fitted ( both looked shot). Seemed like fault was still there but suddenly after almost giving up got a cough & splutter and it started. Seemed great for a few days but then one morning - same thing!!!
There isn't a 'flooded' petrol smell so think it may be lack of fuel.
Any ideas - are there any checks I can do?
