Hi all just saying hello .

I've just moved from the dark side after owning a heavily modified swb trooper and swb pajero.


Just purchased a discovery 1 200tdi 3 door. 90k from new . 1 owner from new .the most comprehensive history I've ever seen inc the original bill of sale at a cost of 18k .


It's been garaged all its life and the old guy I got it off refused to even drive it in the rain lol.


Just in two minds weather to start off roading it ?

Even in perfect state it won't be worth the earth.

Sounds mint. Shame to change that but you could get a really smart off roader out of it

That's my thinking to be honest mate . At least I won't be having to spend my time welding her up lol .


As soon as time and money are available ill start the modifications .

I think I'll start with going through the suspension first make sure all bushes , ball joints etc are 100% . Then probably lift kit then some rims and tyres .

Get all the bushes swopped for polybushes while things are clean and easy maybe

Defiantly mate . Already been looking . Just going to try and get the best I can Afford . Already seen a lot of negative comments about britpart stuff so ill avoid them .


I'm not that for away from paddock so ill see what they do .
