Hi everyone!
I am new around here and need some advice please.
I am looking to source a nearly new/or new 130 for a custom conversion to carry a demountable camper.
I need the full vehicle with load bed, not just the chassis+cab as I intend to put the load bed back on when not used as a camper.

I am giving myself around 6 months or so to find a nice one, do you think this is realistic?
Also if anyone can point me in the right direction of good dealers etc and pitfalls that would be fab!!

Many thanks for any help provided, I am really excited to becoming part of the LR family!
Kind regards.

I intend to put the load bed back on when not used as a camper.

You can buy 'caravan' backs which fit in and over the standard buck's on 110 & 130 HCPU's, so you can drive in to a camping site, lower the 'caravan' legs, and drive away in a fully functioning pick-up... Or just leave it in situ for your holiday and use it like a standard camper, but with less messing around when you get back home...

I take it you would be after a single cab 130 , as the double cab for converting to a motorhome can be a bit limited by all the extra load being on the rear axle !
Dont worry too much about buying with a load bed as they are not difficult to find secondhand . This will widen the market for you . HTSH

Single cab 110's turn up quite often, if you don't need that extra few inches.
The single cab 130's with tipper or flatbed backs are always in the back of the LRO mag.
