Just a quickie to say hi to all you boys and girls,
I have bought myself a little project..
It had the original 2.5TD lump in it and a rotten bulk head, so I stripped them out, well to be honest I have stripped it down to the chassis taken off all the rust with a wire wheel painted it with Galvafriod and a couple of layers of HammerRight, replaced all the rear suspension and all the bushes with Superpro ones and I have even bought all new nuts and bolts from a famous place that deals with 4x4’s.
I have also bought myself a original 200TDI defender lump and a 2006 TD5 bulk head and windscreen to go which is where my problems may lie?!?
So now the hard part is all most done (I hope, I'm sure some of those bolts can not have been off in 26 years) I may need some help with the next steps, but I will ask about them in the associated forum.
