Home now. All very pleasing. Not stupid expensive and a good turn out. Lots of heaps on show from the bonkers expensive to the battered.
I even managed to pick up a few lumps of junk.
No beer tent 😮

I wanted to go as it’s only 30 mins away. Family in Lunnen and I have 6 labs to babysit. Any good, next event for me to grab parts is Belvoir in September.

It was nice to hear people on stands comment on how ‘steady’ it was. No crowds blanking out stalls, lots of people carrying chunks of vehicle they had obviously bought and reasonable queues for food and drinks. The bogs were even quiet enough to get a wizz when you wanted one. I picked up a few rare bits at very decent prices as things were priced to sell. Could have been bigger yes but a nice size not to be repetitive and covetable at an afternoons stroll.

I picked up a couple of D lamps at a tenner each, a buddy got a S3 steering wheel for twenty and a bench grinder for ten quid. My turn for four coffees and cakes was £21 but after a short lie down I managed to stem the sobbing and peoples kids eventually stopped coming over and putting their arms round my shoulders.

I hope you haven’t violated your parole
They were very sweet. One offered me a slightly used serviette to wipe the chocolate from around my face as the double chock squishy brownie hadn’t quelled my tantrum. Being dragged across the grass by my arm wasn’t helping but that’s big brothers for you.
