Right long short but I'll keep it short. Bought a ****ter of an V8 for 100 nicker but came with Good Milner conversion plates and engine mounts...

..Now bagged a great engine but with now inlet, or carbs etc.

So rough plan is bang on Stromies (175 cd) with inlet from first engine to keep power low as its going into a Series 3...

...But Inlet manifold has a LOT of connections I don't need (I think) - it was origninaly a SD1 big valve..

Anyone got any ideas, on where I can find what all of the connections are on manifold, and which ones are nessecary?

and how to balnk off if i don't need?

As nobody else has answered this I'll give it a go......Can't say what you have got but I can say what you need.

You should have two half inch or 5/8 inch water pipes front and rear. One of these will probably be a pipe that runs under the manifold from front to back. Looking at the front of the 'tower' that the carbs bolt to, at the top above a core plug there should be a small bore pipe stub. This connects to a similar pipe on the radiator or the radiator header tank (if you have one). Finally, there should be another 1/2 inch stubby pipe (front left or back left) which is the vacuum connection for the brake servo. Usually, one of the two is blanked with a bolt but if, like me, you have a vac operated diff lock, you will need both.

Thats it, you shouldn't need any other connections.
