After years of Landy ownership and years of trawling the forum for help I have decided to come out of the closet. Just sold my heavily modified/uprated Disco V8 after years of faithful and hard Mozambican service and over the last 10 months i have been 'sorting' my Defender.
Location - Mozambique
Vehicle - Green 1997Defender 90 (2.8 6 cylinder BMW model)
Cost - Over $23k so far including purchase, taxes/registrations (i found it abandoned on the port so got it for a reasonable price
Parts - countless but i am proud of my fitted ARB compressor with neat little door access to it. Most of the 'off raod' accessory work done by 4x4 Megaworld in Nelspruit SA (Impossible to get proper work done in Mozambique
Anyway, we have been down here for over 6 years and so we are in a position to give advice/help to anyone passing through or anyone that simply has an urge to know more.
