Owned a 1971 series 2a 109 2.25 diesel for three years now which is an ongoing renovation/rebuild. But recently bought a 1991 genuine 200tdi defender 90. With me as the third owner at had been used as a farm hack for most of its life. And originated from Bournemouth. From the state of the rear crossmember most liked used to deploy boats. Engine and gearbox have been well maintained and it's had whatever it needed to keep it mechanically sound however as hasn't been on the road in years the chassis has been neglected. Have a photo by photo record which I will post on here soon. Then once the defender is on the road and reliable. My series will be taken off the road for chassis swap and tdi conversion. Neither vehicle are show cars and are working vehicles.
I should add that I'm located in North devon.
