Hi all, ive posted a few questions in the 90 forum before I saw this section! ive had three series 2s in the days before kids. Now theyve lost interest in me, the urge for dirty finger nails and barked knuckles has struck again and i find i have a landie in the shed! this time ive gone for an early 90 - budget limitations and the urge for a better ride!
Beginning to think ive bought in haste as one job seems to be leading to another. She was an mot failure but complete with the failure cert - brakes and steering only. However, i have this bad habit of broggling and so far have replaced the n/s body outrigger, patched the front outrigger and re built the n/s rear spring turret - they looked ok before i set about them!
Will keep me out of mischief i guess!
steve

Re: 84 Questions!!
broggling:.. from the verb brog..to brog etc
brog is an old cornish word fer chipping away while on the look out fer tin ore. as the tin mines petered out the word drifted into use by bodge merchants and other dodgy car repairers to mean.. chipping away paint to look fer iron ore or oxide.
it is now is common use by people called steve to mean beating the **** out of landrover chassis while looking fer rust.

hope this explains it all grunt
