Hi All
We just acquired a nice condition 1966 Series 2A Landy.. new to all this so we would appreciate some advice. Drove her back to Hornchurch from a farm outside Braintree. A bit of an experience as there is considerable play on the steering. Keeping her in a straight line was nye on impossible! Got back in one piece and had a look underneath at the steering linkage. When the steering wheel is turned the drivers side road wheel responds fine but the passenger side road wheel needs a weeks notice. There is a pin connection that is not solid. This car has been modified with power steering. Is this a common problem, and are the parts available to correct it?
Also, we would like to add a wheel clamp for security but note the hubs stick out at least 80mm wider than the tyres. The wheel clamps we have looked at don't seem to take this into account.. ant ideas!
Cheers, Col & Pat
