Hi, I just bought a 2004 Freelander TD4 two weeks ago. I was driving to work today when it started to loose all power it sat at very low revs for about a mile then just died and would not start.
It tries to turn over but just will not start. I don't know much about mechanical workings of cars but reading other posts it sounds like it could be the fuel pump.
