Hi Landyzone
I'm in the process of buying a Land Rover Freelander 2.5 V6 GS automatic petrol (year 2001).
I had a Frontera V6 limited edition for 17 years, however it died on me at the weekend!
I was about to install an E85 ethanol converter, however I will now have to consider if the Freelander is a suitable candidate. The Frontera had a Delphi connector for the fuel injectors. Anyone know what type of connector exists on the Freelander fuel injectors?
When I decided to bring the Frontera to France with me in 2002, I took out insurance with Andrew Copeland in London so it wasn't necessary to re-register the vehicle in France. I needed to keep a valid address in the UK, and the insurance is only valid in the UK for 28 days for a return visit. It saved me a lot of hassle and a lot of money when compared to insurance costs here in France!
I look forward to any opinions or experience anyone wants to share on driving and maintaining a Freelander.
Very best wishes,
PeterFD
