Has any one bought these from paddocks before? Just wondering if they are made by the all time favorite Britpart. Has anyone bought them else where to do the job?

Either everyone on here has perfectly maintained series landrover or they are driving round with knackered swivels! Surly some one has fitted new ones to their landy?? Just wondering if theres any other suppliers other than Britpart or is it them or main dealer and thats it???

I got mine from either Paddocks or Craddocks can't remember which, they were the black ones s'posed to be teflon coated, but doubt if it makes any difference as they probly all come from the same manufacturer. Its the seals an swivel bearings that will make the difference in quality.

Can ye remember how much ye paid Grunt? Got any piccies? And did ye put gaiters on?
Just curious as mines need doin'

I just filled mine with "semifluid grease" never had any problems after.

Ah tried that, but there's a lot of pitting on me balls rolleyes: ) it's just pulling it out

My old ones were so badly pitted even oneshot leaked out an the CVs were on their way out so decided to bite the bullet an do the lot. The old housings will make a pair of fireside ornaments when I get round to tarting em up.

Paddocks it is then. I will use the semi liquid grease when its all done as I used it on my disco and had no problems. No use filling em with the grease at the moment because the landy was parked out side and not moved for seven years so the swivels aren't so much pitted but completly covered in a thick laver of rust. Thanks for the info
