Hi.

Is it possible to buy a new (non-landrover) stereo that still makes use of the steering wheel controls?

hiya matt, i bought my freelander 6 weeks ago, & it has an aftermarket stereo fitted, my steering wheel controls still work, but not sure if a harness adaptor has been used, best to plug it all in & see what happens, if they don't work, you can get harness adaptors from halford's, hope this help's, martyn

fitted a alpine with parrot for phone and had to get a adapter cable to use the steering wheel controls about £15.
