Hello All
Just changed the springs and shocks, 2"lift, plus De Carbon gas shochs, the ride is better than a new one, BUT there is a little vibration that was not there before, any ideas?

Probly prop joints! Now you've altered the angle of the prop, any wear in the joint shows up more,

Hi, just had a similar problem, yep it could be prop shaft problems but replace the rear UJ ...the rubber one first, the cost is about £25 first. Use new bolts with ny-locks and don't forget blue locktite on the treads otherwise even with loc-nuts they will still come loose and you'll be back to square one with the vibration. If the vibration is still there after this then a new front prop is the next step (the above is assuming you have checked the usual suspects ...wheel balance, bearings etc etc) also check for any loose bolts on both props.

try refitting the prop by turning it 90/180 degrees, sometimes works.
also try changing the wheels around. worth trying. ive seen it cure many an annoying vibration.

Hello All
Thank you for your replys, I changed all the UJ joints and rubber bush, vibration has gone! there is a small noise sometimes when I take my foot of the gas, but I think I can live with that. When I look at the front axle though, it looks as if the castor angle has changed, (axle leans forward) is this going to be aproblem, can I correct the angle in some way?
Thanks to all
Best Regards

Castor corrected radius arms is the best way to go, but it shouldn't be neccessary with a 2" lift.

There are correcting bushes available but I've never heard a good report on them. Doesn't mean to say thier crap, its just that people are more likely to complain about things than praise them.

You could get a blacksmith to heat your existing radius arms and improve the castor by 6 degrees but I've heard that it would be an MOT failure to do so.
