I have just fitted a safari snorkel and now I am getting a popping/thumping noise coming from the top I the snorkel. This noise goes if I cover the snorkel intake!

Any ideas?

I take it this is stationary and on tickover or if you rev it stationary ?

Yes it's whilst stationary

Its takin ait in mate.that all it is.air hits the mezh grill. It goes when you cover it coz it got nothing to hit.when you drive itl change to a gushin sound

can't hear mine over the wistle of the light bar, like tubular bells in my car lol

That's ok then I wanted to check but if the noise is normal I won't worry
