Just fitted new shocks and springs all round. Terrafirma medium duty set. Back ones are lovely but after driving from home to work leaving her parked at work all day both front shocks have stopped damping and are bouncy as fook. Could it be a dodgy batch or have I been stupid and done something wrong fitting them?

Everything is still attached and there's no clunks that would suggest anything was loose.

Anyone had any issues with terrafirma recently?

What johnlad said.. Yu need to press the shocks closed then draw them up till fully extended, then repeat until you can feel the pressure build up.

I was suprised when I fitted mine out of 4 boxes only 1 had instructions in and all that was for was about which direction to put washers on.Nothing about priming and there should be!

Never primed them I just put them on. I did look for instructions but there weren't any. Pretty sure they're the right way up but I'm doubting myself now. I'll check later.

You'd struggle to fit them upside down. As there's no way at all to fit the rears upsidedown bolt at bottom ring at top. and the fronts are so obvious you'd need to be a blind man with no hands to make that mistake. Prime them. I've always primed them and never had a problem.

Just checked and I would say they are upside down. What a pea narse. I'll prime them before I put them back on aswell. Cheers for the answers everyone. As always landyzone has the answers. X
