Hi, 3 weeks into land rover ownership, finally got my dream car a 1974 series 3 swb petrol. (okay no2 dream car after an aston martin -but i can't fit the dog in an aston martin so had to buy a land rover - nothing to do with not being able to afford an aston martin)

Looking forward to asking stupid questions and getting honest feedback.

Welcome to lz.
On the plus side the LR will be a lot cheaper to run/maintain than the Aston.

Absolutely, also I did an 80 mile round trip to pick up some doors at the weekend - couldn't have done that in an aston (unless i wanted to strap them to its roof)

doors for the house i mean, the ones on the landrover haven't fallen off --- Yet
