Hi all,

I only received one key with my recently purchased 2002 L322.

What is the best option to get a second key? Is it a call/visit to Land Rover or can I go to a specialist independent garage, maybe to get a better deal than from Land Rover?

Also, what will I need in terms of documentation for them to issue a new key?

Thanks in advance.

Hmmmm this is a nice can of worms. Some say they have had theirs done by a man with a van who turns up and does it. Me, I have never found anyone but Land Rover who can provide. Last time I asked it was around £400 :eek: So I am happy as am, with two keys but both refusing to synch, to enable remote locking/unlocking :(
Sooooooo, search this wonderful mine of knowledge, there will be several threads on the key issue. If you can find someone who can provide and synch a new key, happy days. :D

@omega1

Have a search for Pixels fixed on facebook.

he has a very good reputation, he travels the country and plans his route for customers who book in with him.

Cheers

Mine was £265 from my local independant but I suspect he has a mate at the main stealers, still needed my log book as proof of ownership.

I'm just being really stubborn with mine. They both manually lock/unlock, and start engine. They just won't synch. As I like to stay original I am loathe to change them, but if pixels guy can give a 3rd, and these two still work then I'd do that.

It may be the car that's the issue and not the keys.
