Ignore the hairdresser comments from thems who don't know how to drive their big Freelander oft road and would never dare to try to do it.
FL2's on the whole are quite good. They did betterer than other models in the range in reliability according to a number of main dealer parts dept's I've dealt with. Yer can always buy a bad one but they're mostly ok. Like any car... keep up the maintenance and repair stuff before it gets worse and costs loads to fix.
