I am in the middle of adding some electrical equipment to my 300tdi and want to put some push button in under the clock. Dose anyone know where i can purchase blank push button switches that will fit in the gaps?

Ebay!!!!

Bought some switches for my freelander recently, some were way cheaper from my local stealer than eBay!!!! Talking quarter of the price! But then some were more???? It's worth asking they may surprise you

you will need to get the right switch for the space, if i am correct you are talking about the "4" switch module under the clock, however it will only hold 2 switches in the center 2 positions, these are front fog lights and cruise control.

These switches are also keyed so if you get the wrong one you will have to do a bit of filing to make it fit. Not seen any blank ones but would be interested if you manage to find any.

There's a 2 or 3 switch carrier to fit in that position -





As hifly said above, the switches are keyed to only fit in certain positions, but the keyway can be easily pared-off with a sharp knife so that any switch will fit in any position.

I've got three Front Fog Lights switches in my DII -





The three switches that Land Rover fitted in this position are -

Front Fog Lights

Heated Front Screen

Cruise Control


The HFS switch is of no use for accessories, as it's a 'momentary' switch that doesn't latch.

The other two types are latching on/off switches that can be used for accessories.

Changing their faces for blanks, isn't that easy

I tried it with an old Front Fog Lights switch that had a broken latch, and my ham-fists reduced it to pieces of plastic
