Anyone in Somerset that has a reset tool for the dreaded "air suspension inactive" I'm just outside Yeovil and want to find out if it's something that needs fixing or simply an error code reset.
 
Usual culprit is
1, battery failing, (you get multiple error message sometimes)
2, next is air compressor, unable to fill the reservoir or reach the deired height within the time limit
3, then valves/leaks

not the battery I wouldn't think - that was replaced in Sept - Bosch S4 one. Looking at the history of the car, the compressor has failed 3 times due to overheating. Read on a forum about a garage drilling a hole in the housing which solved the problem ?????

when I say failed - it says it's had to be reset 3 times due to over heating causing the error message ??
 
Might be an idea to post RR problems in the RR forum. A lot more experience and knowledge to be accessed in there ;)
