Just wondering as I have no idea but I suspect it doesnt,

Am I correct in saying that a 300tdi doesnt have a Diesel Particulate filter ?

Would the removal of an EGR come under the removal of a DPF unit ?

I'd guess not a DPF is a DPF and egr is an exshaust gas re-circulating valve, if it passes an emissions test then it passes

Yeah, DPF is a very particular thing. It's in the exhaust system. EGR is completely seperate.

300tdi's dont have DPFs.

DPFs are quite new. Not 100% but probably only pumas and even then not until they meet euro5 emmisions.

The 'cat' lookalike on a 300 tdi is just a soot collector, has mesh filter in it to stop great wads of soot getting down the pipe when you boot it
