Hi all thanks for letting me join your group.
I am looking to replace my Rav4 with a petrol 4x4 as I have had it with diesels ( gone into limp home again ) and it looks like the turbo and it is a pain to get to the cars in a million bits so may be a 1800 Freelander but are the head gaskets still a problem and what else should I be aware of.

I feel your pain with electronics - I hate the things with a passion.

I might suggest that you'd be better to fix what you already have though .... there are many experts on here to help you do this - post up in the freelander section for some advice! Better the devil you know and all that
