The name is Enzian and I live in the West Mids.
I’m not new to 4x4s and over the years (decades!) have owned various marques and models including way back in the 80s an early Range Rover. (A V8 which I converted to a BMC 2.5 diesel, a brand new London Taxi engine! before LR had a diesel engined RR option and hadn’t even started project Iceberg!)
After many recent years with ‘soft roaders’ and one surprisingly capable one (Fiat Panda Cross 1.3 MJTD),
I’ve just bought a Discovery 1. (Who said “fool” ?!!!!) lolol.
The idea is to bring it into reasonably fine on road fettle and then lightly Green Lane prep it.
I’m hoping to learn from the pool of experience on the site and maybe even contribute should I come up with anything that may help others.
