Hello there fellow Landy lovers,
I currently have a 2003 freelander1 serengheti, 1.8 petrol. Yes i know how bad the freelander1s can be but i love them, and i feel i found myself a pretty good deal with mine, Its in fantastic condition cosmetically. I paid 400 for it, the engine was misfiring and the engine management light was on, after having it looked over the plugs were sat in water so had the plugs and leads replaced, and it still had its original battery which just wasn't holding enough charge so replaced the battery and i now have a brilliant car, I'm learning as i go with this one. Its unfortunately no longer 4wd its been converted to FWD due to the common issues the car had. I genuinely love my landy and it currently serves as my run around, Ideally i want a defender! I prefer the older Landys can't say im keen on any of the fancy new range rovers or freelanders, just don't seem to have the same character but thats just my opinion, I am on the look out for something we can use off road as a hobby but not found anything just yet. I'm staying in west lothian so if anyone knows of any local off road groups etc i'd appreciate details.
Will get some pics up shortly
Lovey to meet everyone.
