Hi everybody. Just joined after reading threads for years as a guest !
I run a 2005 TD5 Defender 110 station wagon. About 6 years ago I threw out the stock aircon unit under the dash and piped in a unit mounted inside above the rear door and I also chucked in a larger intercooler and re-mapped the ecu. I recently replaced the stock radio with an android car PC. Oh yes and she has poly bushes and Disco transfer box ratios. Other than that she is stock standard!
I live in Johannesburg area in South Africa and I have a company building kit for the mines. My Landy is my daily work car and I also use her when going into the bush. I enjoy nature and there is a lot of it around here. I do anything from trips 30 minutes away to 6500km round trips into Namibia and Botswana.
Have my eye on a new RR sport hopefully later in 2014 but will never ever ever give my 110 away. First car I have ever owned that I still felt like driving after owning it for a few years.
