Hello all,
im new to this site, and from what ive seen so far
you all seem like a friendly bunch !!! so much so i thought id
ask a question, has any one out there had a 90/110 V8 fitted
with the webber 500 carb and manifold conversion and if so
what sort of MPG are you now getting?.Im stuck between getting
a webber for my 1987 v8 90 to try and improve my mpg or selling it
and buy a disco 200 or 300 tdi, any ideas? .

thanks in advance for any answers

if you wanna keep the v8 then the weber is definately the way to go, mpg will go up as well as bhp, i've heard of people getting 30mpg on a run in a 90, around 30 is all you'll get with a tdi so why change? Plus the v8 sounds cool

cheers clutch dust, thats the answer i was hoping for !!!.
i will be getting in touch with R.P.I for one of their carb kits very soon.
just got to try and get the money out of the joint account with out the wife
knowing !!!! could be tricky !!!.
thanks again !!!
