I recently signed up so it seems polite to say hello and introduce myself. As a Freelander owner I never felt that I 'qualified' as a hard core Landrover owner, so I shied away from joining the forum. But having made use of so many of the posts and advice to help keep my 2001 Td4 5 door model running sweet I felt I should get over myself and participate properly. So a big thank for all of the previously unacknowledged support with: Abs pumps, brake lines, callipers, starter motors, hands free systems, etc, etc, etc.

I'm based in Suffolk, approx 5 miles from Ipswich. I'd bought my Freelander just under 5 years ago on 80k it's now just over 140k. The diesel unit runs beautifully. I home service every 5k and try to do most of my own maintenance. I guess typically it has the odd electrical blip but other than these it's solid, hard working mini truck which I thoroughly enjoy.
