hello every one.
after reading all the posts on this site for some time i thought id be polite and join ya all.

I have a n reg disco 300tdi and after reading the sill replacement post on here am half way through doing mine. I have the age old problem of rusty sills, rusty foot wells, ( only learnt this today ) and rust inner wings.. the boot was (sort of ) done before i bought it.
i bought this car of a neighbour. i trusted his word and was too polite to stab it all over will a Phillips but wish i had now.

now the real reason for joining

after lifting the front sponges today and finding holes in the floor am a little reluctant in putting the carpets back in once i have fixed the holes.
am wondering if anyone has any ideas for a floor covering. i have thought about chequer plate or a flat sheet metal but am sure some one can help tell me the best way to go thanks all
