Morning all, as I have just acquired a 2010 90 Defender commercial with 52000 miles off an guy I have known for years. Paid 18k which I think is an OK price, it’s straight and a basic model, but pretty much a nice blank canvass to tool about with.

Lots of help and advice on here. First priority for a defender is decent security measures. They’re very popular with thieves.
Picking up a steering disc lock tomorrow as my first item of security and I will beef it up as I go.
I do know these are a target, particularly around here which is a bit rural and there are quite a few still about.

No I was saying someone had his defender stolen and it was used in a ram raid. Head out of the gutter. I need to keep my nice appearance up. =)

Suggest a peddle lock too - Aardcase do a pricy one or Paddock Spares have a bright yellow version that works pretty well.
