Good evening all
New member here-ive just bought a td5 disco 2.
Looks very clean & has new gearbox, clutch & bundles of receipts with full MOT.
I pick it up my Monday & will be here often looking for hints & advice.
I'm relatively confident with mechanics & hoping the horror stories aren't true.my dad had a disco 1 when I was a kid & I've always had a soft spot for them

Chassis looks reasonably solid.im.sure some welding will be on the cards but doesn't look too bad I don't think

Hi and welcome!

Tidy looking disco! Just be warned, once you start poking about underneath a Landy product, you’ll likely find more rust than you first thought… (sorry to impart such advice but it’s based on bitter experience!) :rolleyes:
