After long search and hesitation, I just bought a week ago my Discovery.
I was looking into a 6-7 seater for my bigger family. XC90, Mercedes R, Q7, Defenders, Land Cruiser, SRX even Pacifica...but the only true logic choice for me seemed to be the Discovery 2.
I wanted to be able to repair it myself for most part and thus also maintain it by myself (I am a mechanical engineer). All the others had too much electronic for me apart from the first Land Cruisers and Defenders.
But LCs are dull and Defenders too plain. No refinement as the Discovery can give.
Also, in a kind of Mad Max way, I want to be able to go anywhere.
So here is my story. I am glad to share and gather all the experience that you have to make my Disco dance forever.
