Hi guys new here and just got myself a Defender 1997 300tdi.
Was in very good condition till I got it up in the air and jet washed it and found the old owner had bodged the chassis . He hid it all with underseal and mud and its gone in places I couldnt see when looking under it.
I,m going to start taking the body off and see if its worth welding or just go down the galvi route.
Any good suppliers of std and galved chassis?

Welcome hilly01, sorry to hear about your plight of finding a bodged rusty chassis, however there's a few chassis makers advertise in the various land rover magazines so if you get a new galvanised one at least you've got a sound basis to start with. Good luck.
