My LR 90 headlights are looking a bit grotty - one of the reflectors is rusty, they atract condensation inside, and the headlamp bowls are past their best. I'm thinking of getting new ones, and notice that Paddocks offer a few types...

RTC4615K | Halogen headlamp conversion kit (RHD)

PM1039 | Halogen headlamp conversion kit (RHD) - with Ring Ultra Xenon bulbs

PM678 | Wipac Crystal Halogen Headlamp Conversion Kit (pair) - left hand dip (UK and Australia)

Are the Xenon bulbs noticably better than normal halogen bulbs? What's the deal with the Wipac crystal units - worth having?

Usage is nearly all road, with very occasional tracks and light off-road. Often use back roads with full beam.

I've got the Wipac ones on my 110 and have found them to be a big improvement over the halogen sealed units that I had on my 90 I will probably stick a set of 100w bulbs in them and see how it goes, but anything will be an improvement over rusty reflectors!

id vote crystal any day, along with the wiring upgrade they can be some bloody good headlights especially compared to the not so impressive standard lights

I changed my headlamps for a Paddock set with blue bulbs, there was a slight improvement. I then fitted a pair of 100w Wipca spots which come on with the main beam. Very big difference. As good now as the lights on my Sprinter
