Hi guys! I became a Landy owner yesterday and figured it would be a good idea to join a forum to hopefully seek some words of wisdom when the gremlins kick in! It has always been my dream to own a Landy - I was practically brought up in a 2A and always used to go out and watch my dad tinkering with various bits up in the yard. When he left, I thought I'd never have the chance to get one of my own, but I guess the bug never really leaves you! I'm 25 now and it's taken a while to get to the point where I am able to get one...I know it sounds cheesy but yesterday one of my dreams definitely came true 
My partner and I took a train right into the heart of Wales and returned with a 1991 Defender 200tdi. He's very tidy mechanically - had £3.8k of work done last year - new clutch, new alternator belt, new shocks, new PS pump. Has been resprayed, although not the best job - but if we need to get it redone in a year or two it's not the end of the world. I'm a little bit obsessed already!
We have a list of things I will need to ask you guys about at some point, but for now I just wanted to say hi
