The old glass fuses were playing up (indicators kept failing and needing a fuse wiggle) and many badly corroded so I decided to bite the bullet.... 2 days to install new blade fuseboxes. I took the opportunity to fuse the incoming lives, taking the 2x14 gauge wires coming through the bulkhead to a bus bar and then feeding 4 extra fuses off that. I will also add a new smaller blade fuse box for some gauges, but that's a job for tomorrow I've had quite enough soldering and heat shrinking for today!

Pleased with the result, should be reliable again.

Did that to mine too

Just waiting for a few electrical bits to finish the job (some right-angled blade connectors and another rubber boot), but I've now added the separate fuse box for the switched power (gauges & power socket etc.). The smaller switched fuse box uses some pre-drilled holes nicely with only a little bit of filing and I've used other existing holes with grommets to pull the wires through, plus I added a few - although I should've taken it off to do the drilling as my eye wasn't quite in lol. Quite pleased with it though.
