Im going on a weeks break to Hayling Island in few weeks. Will be taking the Discovery.
Anyone know of any nice Lanes or even just nice places to visit?

Good luck hayling island is one road in one road out
Used to be a smallfun fair there
But tbh you aint gonna find a massive amount to do there

take a mate who has a winch and make sure u have recovery gear and good recovery points

We went on a route down to Hindhead for an evening last weekend. This week I am going away for a break to New Forest.

the quarry in chichester used to be run by "core 4x4" but no longer exists - there is a couple round here though, slindon and another over emsworth way but the name escapes me at the moment :doh:

there's only one lane near chichester that is legal to drive that I know of... a couple of fords out by portsdown hill (portsmouth) everything else is a bit further afield unfortunately!

there was a few fords etc in the new forest but nothing special. we are planning a Sussex trip soon.

Hindhead's good. I go there often.

New Forest not really worth it then no?

Pay N Play, 4x4 and off road sites around the UK to search for sites!

It was family week break. Didn't explore too much other than new forest etc. Had a look on various OS maps etc but didn't find anything near where we were going. As for lanes, We did a route from Dorking area, Abinger and down to Hindhead.
Possibly Slindon this month.

Yeah they're all local to me, between home and work, some good lanes!
