hey guys,
would any of you know of a suitable replacement for a 3.5 V8 filter box?
mine was removed years ago for some reason and replaced with K&n filters clamped directly onto the carb air inlets.
i dont want to put the original back in, im looking for something with similar if not better performance than im already getting.
i wouldn't bother but someone told me in a earlier thread that if it has a direct air feed it works alot nicer

Just make up some ducting etc so that your K&N filers are not sucking in hot air.

Either double snorkel them and fit filters on top, or a y pipe with one big filter mounted somewhere it can suck in lots of cold air.
