Just swapped Stan my 109 for Wilfred the 109 Dormobile - straight swap.

Anyone know anything about them? thought it might be "a bit interesting" but needs a bit of work and immediately 2 new roof windows and a roof vent.

Don't suppose anyone on here has spare parts? Or hens teeth?

There is a club for em somewhere. Quite few of em at manby as well.

Fookin ell what sort of anal rivet counters are they?

Aye wood, ally & canvas seem to be the main ingredients. There were loads of variations and even different manufacturers. didn't Carawagon make the first ones.. Saw one where the whole roof tipped up at the back. Looked like a portable ski jump.

Them's Carawagons, not Dormobiles. Make that mistake and you will be black balled. It's worse than calling a Land Rover a J**p

Tell you spare dormobile bits aint cheap! now I know why my mint 109 was so appealing to the guy...

Still, what a laugh they are, trying to clamber up into the bunkbed things.
