Need to get a new galvanised chassis very soon. My question is I purchased some Lanoguard before I realised I needed a new chassis, now I need chassis do I use the Lanoguard on inside and outside and paint the chassis black?

I would still paint it. New galv chassis and a coupla layers of good quality paint is only going to be a good thing. Did mine that way. Backed up high impact areas with some stone chip and raptor in other places. Good luck.

Do as much as possible. There is no way you can do to much to rust proof a chassis. Galv, then primer, then top coat, then wax inside and out.

There isn't anyone who knows more about keeping metal intact in seawater than MG Duff. They started Zinga, and I used their
Tarfree after T-Wash. It's a single pack PU and very tough. I then put on several coats of Zinga. Then a couple of satin black Tractor paint from Vapormatic. Five years on and then only damage is tow bar scratches - which are completely clear of rust. FYI both galvanising and Zinga work through cathodic protection, and the latter isn't really a a paint!
