Hi all, just slipped in to the forum, I am new to the forum and new to the Freelander, just bought an 02 td4 on thursday there. Well to be honest it's for my wife, So just a big Hi!!!!!!

One question I have is........, I was talking to a friend of mine there on Saturday, he told me that the TD4 engine is a BMW diesel engine. Is this true? If so any common or avoidable faults with them???

LOL Sean, had my day of them with the Army m8, nearly put me off Landrovers for life. The Freelander is the first Landrover I have driven in about 10 years. I must say I was really pleasently surprised.....
