Needs alot of work, but with tax, mot, and running for £750 its a steal

2.5NA 15j sherpa block with LT77. Speedo doesnt work, heater blower doesnt work, its obviously got alot of damage here and there. Front prop UJ is gone and its running on 2wd with no front prop at the moment.

What u think guys?

WHats the chassis like tho ? patchwork or quite sound ? .
What are your plans for it , total strip down with a 200 motor or tart it up and rag the hell out of it lol .

chassis has minor patch work. And has had a new rear quarter.

I got a new gearbox, 300tdi and axles to go on it as well as some BFG MT's and a 2" lift kit with shock droppers and disloc cones. Gonna buy a new blower or try and get current one working. Speedo cable is a misnomer.

Got a 5L can of nato paint. I can weld and pop rivet. Long term project....

I would rather ruin the car and be able to drive it in relative comfort, with decent mpg, power and usability. In its current state, i will be deaf, have a broken back and spent a fortune on diesel. So i'll take my chances with your scorning and do what i like. Thanks! :p

well you're an optimist for sure

cant convince the wife to let me do all this work with a negative attitude now can i. So long as i keep a confident smile on me face then its all ok.

£250 overpriced?????

Yeah - if you can find better locally..... depends on too many factors.
Its worth what someone's willing to pay.....

But if eBay is a good signal to what people are willing to pay - I'd much rather this one for £750 than this 'project' currently at £510 and still bidding

Relative comfort... not luxury. I have a new lift kit, and im pretty sure this standard setup has seen better days

good luck with it im in a similar state with mine, although mines got a 200 factory fitted, ive had to change most body panels, its never ending
