Just bought this as a new toy/get out of jail car. Only had it a couple of days and I reckon its going to be a money pit, but hopefully one I can manage.



you'll be seeing me ask lots of questions no doubt, as there are a few bits to sort out.

Anyone interested in a swap on the Alloys? they are all in good knick except for one which has kerb rash mark about 6 inches long. Tyres all in good condition with at least 6mm of tread at a guess (they look new). I can provide a picture of the kerbed alloy if anyone registers some interest. (PM me)

Looking to swap for some Standard 19's that I think came with the car, with a similar tread level on them. Would quite like something thats multi-spoke, but i'm open to ideas. Just trying to make it look a little less gangster, as thats not really me

Also, I'm based in the ****** Are - anyone in the area on this site have a Fault code reader i may be able to borrow?

lol yep a lot of these seem to have mob wheels on, i have just bought a 02 in mint condition but have few niggles as well, first thing i did was clean air filter and it gained me 2mpg could not believe the dirt they collect have a go and see if yours improves, is this your first landy ?

yup first one. will take a look at the air filter this weekend. Happy to spend a bit of time fixing the bits that need doing. Had a local Indie have a look at it and he said its in good condition. nothing major needs doing, but at some point will need nsf track rod end, osf suspension arm and osr lower bush. Plus needs new cam cover gaskets.

Perhaps I'll put the thread up about the wheels in the general section, see if i get any interest.
