I am trying to work something out.

The 7th letter of my vin number is A (Body type: 2-door: Pickup, hood cab, truck cab, or soft/hard top) on the Calvin Calculator.

I know 90 defenders are chopped around but mine has slide side windows (look original) to me but no windows in the roof. Log book 1993 but it states a 1994 on these vin number search engines, i have tried three.

Would mine have been built like this? It had bench seats in the back ( i know these are easy to put in, but they had been in for quite along time)

Does "A" indicate commercial? Does anyone have a commercial one and what is your 7th letter?

One of these vin search engines also said "utility body", does utility mean commercial? All Defenders are utility 4x4s.

I am going head on with the Dvla soon to change it to "estate" so just want to prepare myself, for the best result or the fall.
